2 goods trains collide in Bengal’s Bankura; know how it happened

Rail operation on Kharagpur–Bankura–Adra line halted after two goods trains collided at Onda railway station in Bankura. “Railway maintenance train shunting was going on at Ondagram station. The goods train overshot the red signal and didn’t stop and derailed with the maintenance train. Around 8 wagons derailed at around 4.05hrs. Restoration underway. The UP Mail line loop line have already been restored,” said the CPRO, South Eastern Railway.
