Nearly six years after it was introduced by former vice chancellor SP Kane, Nagpur University has implemented a 50:50 examination pattern wherein colleges are instructed to conduct the first, third and fifth semester exams of undergraduate non-professional courses (BA, BCom, BSc and other degrees).
Exams for professional courses for which admissions were done though the common entrance test (CET) would be conducted by the university, said director of board of examination and evaluation (BOEE) Prafulla Sable.
