The police have registered a case under sections 105 (Culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) (Voluntarily causing hurt) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Chikkadpally police station. The complaint, filed by the woman's husband on December 5, alleges that a huge crowd gathered at the theatre to catch a glimpse of the actor. However, there was no prior announcement from the theatre or the actor's team regarding the visit.
