A severe heatwave gripping the region has sparked a fire incident in the Lekhapani area of Tinsukia district, where temperatures soared to 40-41 degrees Celsius. The blaze resulted in the complete destruction of a residential house and the office of a nearby tea factory, located approximately three miles from the fire's origin. Emergency services responded promptly, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
