Bengaluru gets India's first EV battery & charger test centre

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi laid the foundation stone of a testing facility at the National Test House (NTH) in Jakkur, Bengaluru, to boost India's EV ecosystem by offering comprehensive testing services crucial for the industry's growth. NTH will establish similar facilities in Mumbai and Kolkata. The NTH will utilise advanced technology to carry out various tests, including electrical safety, battery efficiency, electromagnetic compatibility, and overall performance.
