BNCAP or GNCAP, where will Rs 1.9 crore be saved in car crash test?

Till now the strength of the vehicles sold in India was checked by GNCAP i.e. Global NCAP, but now the Government of India has started the Bharat NCAP program to check the strength of the vehicles in India itself. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari had said some time ago that crash testing of cars in Bharat NCAP will cost around Rs 60 lakh while conducting the same in Global NCAP would cost Rs 2.5 crore per vehicle.
