A study published recently in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology looked at the combined impact of fitness and blood pressure on the chance of passing away from cardiovascular disease. Exercises strengthen the heart and help it pump more blood with lesser effort. The force on the arteries decreases and there is an automatic fall in blood pressure.
