CBSE issues show-cause notice to 27 schools in Delhi, Rajasthan for violating bye-laws

Following a series of surprise inspections to identify dummy schools, the CBSE found violations concerning the enrollment of students and attendance practices. The inspections revealed that schools had enrolled students in Class 11 and 12 who were not physically attending classes. It added that some institutions were also found to be flouting infrastructural norms, compromising the quality of education and the safety of students.
