Australia, captained by Mitchell Marsh, will kickstart their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign on June 6 when they take on Oman at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. However, ahead of their opener, some players had a delayed arrival in the Caribbean Islands. Test and ODI skipper, Pat Cummins found his luggage missing while Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell faced several flight delays resulting in overnight stays in Los Angeles and Miami.
