As per India Meteorology Department’s (IMD) Santacruz observatory, the minimum (night) temperature on Sunday stood at 18.9°C, just one degree above the normal range. This is the third time this season that Santacruz observatory has recorded a minimum temperature below 20°C. On December 13, the night temperature was 19.4°C, while on November 30, it was 19.7°C. IMD scientists have said that Mumbai’s night temperature may dip further in the coming week.
