Digital attendance in UP schools on hold till expert committee submits report

Earlier, the Yogi government issued instructions to implement a digital attendance system for both teachers and students to make state-run schools digitally active. After the controversies raised over digital attendance under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, it was decided to form an expert committee to listen to the problems and suggestions of teachers. Digital attendance will be kept suspended till further orders.
