Dispute over election of secretary leads to scuffle at CPM conference in Thodupuzha

Out of 59 delegates who attended, the majority supported the continuation of the current secretary. A 15-member committee was elected and another individual was chosen as the local committee secretary. When delegates learned of this, they expressed frustration, alleging that the Welfare Fund Board chairman was behind the interference, leading to the altercation. Tensions eased only after the newly elected secretary declared he could not take the position.
