Atkinson's Test debut at the Lord's Cricket Ground was indeed iconic. The debutant broke several records with his legendary spell against the Caribbeans at the 'Home of Cricket'. The right-arm fast-bowler registered the figures of 12/106 and is now officially the best bowling figures by a debutant in Test cricket this century. The 26-year-old goes past the record of Prabath Jayasuriya, who registered the figures of 12/177 in 2022 against Australia at Galle.
