Excise department seized 5000 fake cough syrup bottles and pickup van, 2 arrested

The case is from the Transport Nagar area. Within the last month, the department has conducted raids at four places and recovered Rs 1 crore worth of fake cough syrup. Assistant Commissioner of Excise Department Prem Prakash said that the raid was conducted based on secret information. The excise department is continuously taking action against businessmen making fake cough syrup. But, the main accused is still out of police custody.
