Unless Google allows the app back in the Play Store, you will not be able to install or update it. But if you already have the app installed, you remain unaffected. Also, iPhone users will remain unaffected.
“Paytm Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google’s Play Store. It will be back very soon. All your money is completely safe, and you can continue to enjoy your Paytm app as normal."
