A 14-year-old girl, who had allegedly set herself on fire after being pressured to withdraw a police complaint regarding a rape attempt on her, succumbed to burn injuries in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district on Monday after fighting for life for 11 days.
Family members, including the deceased's father, have alleged that a proper investigation was not being done and demanded a probe by the CBI.
