Gujarat High Court clears path for release of Aamir Khan's son Junaid's debut film

'Maharaj,' which is produced by Yash Raj Films and based on an 1862 libel case involving social reformer Karsandas Mulji, was allowed to be released on Netflix. Justice Sangeeta Vishen, who watched the film before passing the order, noted it has been certified by the CBFC. She highlighted that the film's core message is about combating social evils, and found nothing in the movie that would incite hatred or violence against the Pushtimarg sect.
