Heavy rains predicted over Puducherry, Tamil Nadu districts on December 24, 25

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Chennai, has predicted heavy rainfall in the Chengalpattu, Villupuram, and Cuddalore districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. According to the RMC, a weakened depression over the Bay of Bengal is about to become a well-marked low-pressure area and likely to reach the southwest Bay of Bengal near north Tamil Nadu as well as south Andhra Pradesh coasts around December 24.
