Once upon a time in the fictional kingdom of Kaza in British India, there was the brave bandit Shamshera. His son Balli, a frivolous thief born in Kaza prison, is his lookalike but the apple has fallen far from the tree.
Both are played by Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Malhotra’s July 22 release Shamshera. The story begins in 1871, when the British government passed the Criminal Tribes Act.
