India asks its nationals to "remain alert" in Bangladesh as student protests resume

Assistant High Commission of India (AHCI) issued an advisory urging Indian nationals residing in the country as an unspecified number of people have been injured in the Sylhet protests. The AHCI, a representative office of the Government of India in Sylhet, is responsible for the issuance of visas and the welfare of Indian nationals in its Consular jurisdiction (Districts of Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj, Habiganj, Kishoreganj & Netorokona), etc.
