Industrial waste dumped, burnt in open in Gurugram, ‘but no MCM action yet’

Open dumping and burning of solid waste near the road between Nawada village and IMT Manesar has become a major cause of concern for the residents and commuters of the area. Locals allege that solid and industrial waste dumping and illegal burning in the area have been creating a health hazard for the last five years. Vikas Yadav, a resident of Nawada said that on Saturday, mixed waste including plastic and rubber was set on fire, emanating black fumes.
