iOS 18 will not generate photorealistic images in Image Playground

Apple aims to mitigate the potential misuse of AI-generated content including prevention of deep fakes and other forms of deceptive imagery that could compromise individual privacy and security. Apple is also reportedly implementing a labelling system for AI-generated images which will indicate the origin of the image by displaying "Apple Image Playground" as the source. Each image created with Image Playground will be marked through EXIF data.
