Karnataka: 14-day lockdown in state from tomorrow

Karnataka govt announces a 14-day complete lockdown in Karnataka from Tuesday 6 pm to reduce the number of infections and to break the chain of the virus. "Essential services allowed between 6-10 am. After 10 am, shops to remain closed. Only construction, manufacturing & agriculture sectors allowed," said Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa.
Cabinet resolved to write to the state election commission to defer all upcoming polls for at least three months. Govt to allow home delivery of alcohol.
