When Instagram was launched back in 2010, it was being looked upon as a cool new app that let users share photos without the need for a long written caption. When Facebook acquired Instagram in 2012, it was much talked about. Several leaked emails between Zuckerberg and his team before the acquisition of Instagram have resurfaced on social media. And they suggest that Zuckerberg bought Instagram as he perceived the app to be a huge competitor.
