More rainfall in store for Odisha till Sep 15 as new low pressure forms

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) tweeted, “A low-pressure area has been formed over southeast Bangladesh and neighbourhood in the night of September 12 and lay over the same region at 5:30 of September 13; likely to intensify into a depression over coastal West Bengal & adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal during next 48 hours.” The new low pressure is likely to bring heavy to very heavy rainfall to Odisha, likely till September 15.
