Mpox: Pakistan detects 4th case, Philippines reports three more

The 47-year-old man from Peshawar tested positive after returning from the Gulf region. Mpox infection was confirmed in the patient by the country’s Public Health Reference Laboratory. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Public Health Director Dr Irshad Ali Roghani said the man is “stable” and “undergoing treatment”. On August 16, Pakistan reported the first suspected case of Mpox in a 34-year-old man who recently returned from Saudi Arabia.
