Mpox alert in Kerala over global outbreak, Tamil Nadu issues screening protocol

Kerala health department has advised screening of all passengers arriving from nations affected by mpox. If positive cases are found, they will be isolated and treated according to the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the state government in 2022. Tamil Nadu has issued similar screening orders. They are expected to undergo strict thermal screening of all passengers at airports, especially passengers arriving from outside India.
