Mumbai college under scanner for holding farewell party amid surge in Covid-19 cases

Despite rising coronavirus cases in Maharashtra, a Mumbai college has come under the scanner for allegedly holding a farewell party for Class 12 students. Kandivli's Jiten Mody Junior College allegedly held a farewell party on March 13 and it was attended by many students. The incident came to light when photos of the event were circulated.
The development comes at a time when schools and colleges remain shut in Maharashtra.
