Junaid Khan's debut movie 'Maharaj' is all set to release on Netflix on June 14. A section of netizens alleged that the film portrays Hindu religious leaders negatively and demanded that it be pulled from screening. The film, directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, recounts the real-life story of Karsandas Mulji, a journalist and social reformer, who was a pioneering advocate for women's rights. Interestingly, the makers are streaming the movie without any promotion.
