No. 1 Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula withdraw from Korea Open

Korea Open is scheduled from September 16 to 22 in Seoul. Swiatek, who won the French Open this year and recently secured a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, cited fatigue as the reason for her withdrawal. Pegula, the defending champion of the Korea Open and runner-up in the US Open, will also miss the tournament, sidelined with a rib injury. Elena Rybakina, former Wimbledon champion and current World No. 4, is out due to a back injury.
