Noida's only anti-smog tower removed; here's why

The inauguration plaque has also been removed. The 20-meter-tall smog tower, located near the Delhi-Noida-Direct (DND) flyover, was constructed in 2021 by the Noida Authority and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd under a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative for Rs 2.5 crore. With pollution levels on the rise and expected to worsen in the coming days, residents of Noida won't be able to get relief they were receiving from this tower.
