North India’s air pollution is now visible from space not just from your balcony

A large swathe of North India is engulfed by severe air pollution, pushing millions of residents into an increasingly hazardous environment with every passing minute. Air Quality Index (AQI) levels in major cities such as Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad have fallen into the “severe" category, far exceeding the safe limits set by the World Health Organization (WHO). The pollution has escalated to the point where it is now visible from space.
