NSE sets record with 268 IPOs and leads global equity capital raising in 2024

Of the 1145 IPOs raised in 2024, NSE was involved with 268, the Shanghai Stock Exchange facilitated 101 and the Japan Exchange Group facilitated 93 IPOs. 90 NSE IPOs last year were on the mainboard and 178 small and medium enterprises, raising Rs. 1.67 lakhs crores. However, the biggest IPO at NSE remained that of Hyundai Motor India Ltd, worth over Rs. 27 thousand crore, which was also the second biggest in the world.
