Nyay Yatra hits roadblock in Guwahati, Congress workers clash with authorities

The Congress workers engaged in a clash with police officials while trying to enter Guwahati after the party resumed the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Nearly 5,000 Congress workers including Rahul Gandhi and other leaders were intercepted by the heavy police deployment by the state government. The Congress alleged that the route designated for the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in Assam was used by a rally of Bajrang Dal and JP Nadda, but their march was stopped.
