After failing to qualify for the playoffs of IPL 2024, Delhi Capitals parted ways with head coach Ricky Ponting. DC co-owner Parth Jindal was delighted with the quality they have got in the form of Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Jake Fraser-McGurk and others but when it comes to coaching, he wants someone to be available all the time. Ponting used to be available for the auction and for a little over two months during IPL.
