Police conduct cordon and search operation in Phillaur, 5 arrested

Jalandhar rural police also seized narcotics from them in Ganna village of Punjab's Phillaur subdivision. Senior Superintendent of Police (Jalandhar Rural) Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh said, “The operation was meticulously planned after receiving specific intelligence inputs about drug peddling activities in Ganna village. The police teams firstly secured all entry and exit points before conducting house-to-house searches in the identified areas."
