RBI's Rs 50,000 cr liquidity window can augment hospital bed capacity by 20%: Crisil

Hospitals could be among the biggest beneficiaries of the Rs 50,000 crore liquidity window offered by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to banks under priority-sector lending to augment Covid-19 healthcare.

It will help improve bed capacity at hospitals by up to 20 per cent as credit will be available at cheaper costs, credit rating agency CRISIL said.
