A block deal represents a single transaction involving share quantities exceeding Rs. 5 lakh or where the total traded value surpasses Rs 10 crores. The week witnessed a host of block deals within the largecap companies including a Rs 334 crore (USD 40 mn) deal for Reliance Industries. The stock recorded a positive week-to-date performance of 1.3%. Two significant block transactions, valued at Rs 247 crore, were seen in Bajaj Auto.
