Singapore: Lee Hsien Loong supports Lawrence Wong to lead ruling party

Loong, Secretary-General of the ruling People's Action Party (PAP), said he would propose to the new central executive committee to elect Wong, Singapore's Prime Minister, as the next Secretary-General. Wong, who was elected deputy secretary-general in 2022, said the PAP would continue to refresh itself to better meet the needs of a changing society and uphold core values such as honesty, integrity, and incorruptibility.
