State-wide ‘Iconic Events’ week held to honour Netaji

The weeklong “Iconic Events” organised across the country began on Tuesday to pay tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, whose 126th birth anniversary would be celebrated on January 23. The event was held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima with the Chief Secretary, J. Alam as the special guest, who unfurled 126 National Flags to mark the day. He said Netaji’s indomitable spirit and selfless sacrifices for the freedom of the nation have made everyone bow in reverence and awe.
