Stepping out to vote in Delhi? Keep these things in mind amid heat wave

Go to your polling booth early to cast your vote before it is too crowded and sunny. Avoid going out in the sun, especially between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm. Carry a bottle of water with you. Wear lightweight, light-coloured, loose, and porous cotton clothes. Use protective goggles, an umbrella or hat, and shoes or chappals while going out. Don't go to the polling booth alone, especially if you are elderly; ask family members to accompany you.
