Relatives and Covid patients in Thane are harried after private facilities are asking them to arrange for Remdesivir injections required during treatment despite a corporation mandate resting the responsibility of purchasing the same on the treating hospital.
“There seems to be a racket as relatives of few patients have told us they have got the vials at almost five times the printed price in the black market,” said a city-based doctor requesting anonymity.
