Uttar Pradesh Police and National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) officials rescued 26 boys and 31 girls, mostly from Bihar and West Bengal, allegedly forced to work at a slaughterhouse for a meat processing and exporting unit in Ghaziabad. “The number may change once other processes, including age verification of the children, are completed. Action has been taken on the complaint of Mission Mukti," an official said.
