Virgin Galactic completes first commercial spaceflight with 3 Italian passengers

Virgin Galactic completed its first commercial flight, carrying three passengers who each paid $450,000 for the experience. The VSS Unity spacecraft, flown by pilots Nicole Pecile and Mike Masucci, reached the edge of space after separating from the VMS Eve Spaceship Carrier aircraft. The passengers included Col. Walter Villadei, Lt. Angelo Landolfi, and Pantaleone Carlucci, along with Astronaut Instructor Colin Bennett from Virgin Galactic.
