Weather: IMD issues orange alert in Kerala, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) cautioned three states for heavy rainfall and possibly dangerous condition. For the next five days, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are likely to witness widespread light to moderate rainfall in the region. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan are expected to experience scattered to fairly widespread rainfall. In Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, scattered rainfall is predicted.
