West Bengal Schools closed, Summer Vacations in Government Schools from May 7 - WB Government

The West Bengal Government announced its decision to close all schools in the state from tomorrow – April 20, 2021. Furthermore, the summer vacations have also been preponed and would now begin on May 7.

The decision comes as COVID19 cases continue to rise rapidly in the country and the state. The classes for young students were already suspended. The order further puts on hold the classes for students of Classes 10 and 12 and teachers who were attending schools.
