World’s most powerful passports in 2024: UAE makes it to top 10 for first time

UAE, ranked 9th, offers visa-free entry to 185 countries and territories through its passport. Since the Henley Passport Index’s inception in 2006, UAE's passport has added 152 destinations and remarkably climbed from its 62nd position. Juerg Steffen, Chief Executive of Henley & Partners, said, “This is the result of deliberate and concerted efforts by the Emirati government to position the UAE as a global hub for business, tourism, and investment.”
