‘Only One Earth’: India gears up to celebrate World Environment Day

World Environment Day celebrated on June 5 every year is a United Nations initiative to create awareness for the protection of the environment. 2022 marks 50 years since the Stockholm Conference which led to the designation of 5 June as World Environment Day.
The theme of this year's environment day is ‘Only One Earth' which aims to focus on the importance of sustainable living in harmony with nature.
