Guntur police on Tuesday arrested M Gnaneswar (22) for killing 21-year-old P Tapaswi, a third year bachelor of dental surgery student, at Takkellapadu villageon Monday night. On Monday, the accused came to know that Tapaswi was with her friend at Takkelapalem, and met her. When she again refused to marry him, Gnaneswar killed her by slitting her throat and stabbing her with a surgical knife.
