Amid the Covid-19 surge, around 71 Mumbai Police personnel have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. This comes at a time when the third wave is gripping the state in general and Mumbai in particular.
Maharashtra Home Minister Dileep Walse Patil has said that the state government was aware of the rising Covid19 numbers among the police personnel and had put adequate medical facilities in place to take care of their health.
